This is a one-person review site. I try to collect as little as possible. Here is what happens to your data.
Who runs this site
I’m Randall. You can reach me at hello@intellinary.com.
What the site records
- Visit statistics. I use Jetpack Stats to see which pages get read. It counts page views and general location by country. It sets a cookie or similar identifier and records your IP address.
- Server logs. My web host (Hostinger) keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, page requested) for security and troubleshooting.
- Caching and security. The site uses a caching plugin and Jetpack security features that handle your IP address in the normal course of serving pages.
Affiliate links and cookies
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Each post says when it contains affiliate links.
- Amazon. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. When you click an Amazon link, Amazon may set cookies to track the referral. See Amazon’s privacy notice.
- Awin. Some links (for example to ELEGOO and Fanttik) go through the Awin affiliate network. Awin and the merchant may set cookies to credit a sale to this site. See Awin’s privacy policy.
I do not see who you are, only that a purchase happened.
Contact form and email
If you write to hello@intellinary.com or use the contact form, I get your name, email address and message by email. I use them to reply and delete them when they’re no longer useful. I don’t sell or share them.
Newsletter
If you sign up for the newsletter, the only thing I ask for is your email address. You’ll get a confirmation email first, and you aren’t subscribed until you click the link in it. After that you’ll get new reviews and guides, plus what I’m testing next. Right after you sign up, you’re sent to a free checklist page on this site. That page doesn’t collect anything extra.
The newsletter runs on beehiiv, which stores your email address and sends the emails for me. Like most email services, beehiiv records whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. It also records where the signup came from, like which page the box was on, and a rough location based on your IP address. The signup box on this site loads from beehiiv, so beehiiv may also log that you viewed it. See beehiiv’s privacy policy.
Every email has an unsubscribe link. I don’t sell the list or give it to anyone other than beehiiv. You can also email hello@intellinary.com and I’ll remove you.
Comments
Comments are turned off. If that changes, this page will say what’s stored.
Embedded content
A few pages may embed images or links from other sites. Those sites may collect data about you if you click or load them.
Your choices
You can block cookies in your browser or use a tracker blocker. Email me to ask what I hold about you, or to have it deleted. I’ll answer within a reasonable time.
Changes
If this changes in a meaningful way, I’ll update the date at the top.
