LEGO UCS Millennium Falcon (75192) review: the weight, the minifigs and a modular build
Disclosure: I bought this set myself. LEGO didn’t send it. This post has no affiliate links or ads. How I review
Short version: I built the LEGO Ultimate Collector Series Millennium Falcon, and I loved it. The weight, the minifigs and the modular build are why. It’s expensive and it’s huge, so here’s my rule: if you can afford to buy it, you really ought to display it.
I built it over the course of a week. I could have done it sooner- I just took my time and used it to fill downtime.

The weight
Oh, it’s heavy. And I mean that as a compliment.
I REALLY loved the weight of this thing. A ship this big should feel substantial when youre done, and this one does- it has real heft to it.
The minifigs
You get two crews in one box: Han, Chewie, Leia and C-3PO from the original trilogy, and older Han, Rey and Finn from the sequels, plus BB-8, a couple of porgs and a mynock. The cockpit seats four.
It’s a bunch of little Star Wars guys, and I loved them. For me it’s the classics: young Han and old Han, Leia, Chewie.
The modular build
The hull isn’t one big shell. It’s built in sections, and the outer panels lift off to show the interior underneath: corridors, the main hold and the holotable. The top sensor dish also swaps between the classic look and the Force Awakens version.

That modular style is a big part of why I loved it. To be clear, it’s not a breeze. It was more tedious to build than Barad-dûr, and about as challenging as Minas Tirith. Taking it slow and building in my downtime worked for me.

Things to know
- It’s huge. At about 84 cm long and 60 cm wide, it needs a real table or a deep shelf.
- It’s expensive. $849.99 list puts it among the priciest LEGO sets out there.
- It’s tedious in places. More so than Barad-dûr, so pace yourself.
- It’s an older design. It first came out in October 2017.
Verdict
I loved it. Is it worth it? If you intend on displaying it, yes.
It’s expensive and it’s huge. If you can afford to buy it, you really ought to display it. If it’s going to live in a closet, I dont see the point.
If you’ve built it too, Im all ears on how yours went.
